Our Story

Hi, I'm Lisa, the founder of Claii Studio.

Claii began after I moved to Mallorca. I started to become increasingly aware of the water I was drinking. Like many people, I found myself carrying heavy plastic bottles home week after week. It felt inconvenient, wasteful, and disconnected from the slower, more conscious lifestyle I was trying to create.

I started looking for an alternative.

What I found was that most water filters were designed purely for function. They worked, but they were often made from plastic, difficult to install, extremely expensive or something you wanted to hide away in a cupboard.

I wanted something different. A water filter that was healthy, practical, and beautiful enough to be part of the home.

That search became Claii Studio.

Today, we work with a fifth-generation, family-owned ceramic factory in Portugal, where skilled artisans continue a craft that has been passed down through generations. Every ceramic vessel is handcrafted in small batches, using traditional techniques that value quality and longevity over speed and volume.

In a world increasingly dominated by mass production, we believe craftsmanship matters.

We believe there is value in knowing who makes the products we bring into our homes. In supporting family-run businesses. In preserving traditional skills. And in choosing objects that are made to last.

Our ceramic water filters are designed to help reduce reliance on single-use plastic while offering a healthier and more beautiful way to enjoy everyday drinking water.

Because clean water is something we interact with every day.

And we believe the objects connected to that daily ritual should be made with the same care we have for our health, our homes, and the people who make them.

Claii is our small contribution to a future with less plastic, more craftsmanship, and everyday objects that are made to be cherished, not replaced.
